October 19-24, 2012
Being in the middle of Bangkok's rainy season I felt the need to freshen my umbrella. Thais will recognize the cartoonist.
PS: A new i-store in my neighborhood.
Every October Thailand celebrates vegetarianism during the middle of the month. The Rain Tree at The Plaza Athenee has a special vegetarian hot buffet.
How weird this is:
Reader Fernicious L. Somequat from Helsinki, Finland writes: "Does the Sukhothai Hotel on Bangkok's Sathon Road still offer a weekday buffet luncheon? I am not so much interested in individual dishes as I am with the overall display."
Your wish is granted.
PS: A perfect postscript for Sunday.
Reader Dagmar P. Lyntslinker of Malmo, Sweden writes: "I am the estranged niece of Ferny Somequat, the woman who yesterday asked to see some photos of the buffet set-up at Bangkok's Sukhothai Hotel. She made a point of not wanting to see individual dishes. Well, I want you to post some pictures of particularly delicious looking plates of full calorie food. You see Ferny is in jail and these photos will drive her crazy."
No! THOCBDC will only post photos of low calorie items.
River City hosted a display of Classic Cars-Japanese Retro.
PS: And, some models as well.
We have a curious, but contented, cat just outside the room containing the north lifts (elevators) in our condo.
PS: Bullet proof manager training?
PPS: Cute, but useful?
