Though the Okura Hotel has been our neighbor for many months this was the first time that we tried its buffet. Watcharee and I along with Rung and two of Watcharee's cousins were impressed with the lobby. Tomorrow you'll see the food.

In Thailand we tend to ignore the posted speed limits when driving in the country ... sometimes by exceeding it by more than 300%.
The heaviest rain in 50 years has hit Bangkok.
Talk about home cooking with raw ingredients ... we had a lunch prepared at Watcharee's mom's house. Her mom bought the ingredients and Wtcharee did the mixing and blending. The result: a perfect soup.

We avoided the hurricane season by not going to Florida this year ... but, in a few days we'll experience an Asian typhoon. Tonight Wireless Road, as seen from The Rain Tree restaurant in the Plaza Athenee hotel, was awash in rain.
